How much does the estimate cost?
Our estimates are always free. Please fill out the form on our contact page to request an estimate or call 219.864.8733.

How long does it take to get an estimate?
You will receive you estimate the same day or within 24 hours for most cases. We work with your schedule to provide you with an estimate when it's most convenient for you.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured for your protection.

Are you available all year long?
Yes! We perform a variety of tree services throughout the year.

Will you leave marks in my yard?
At no additional charge, Timber Masters uses large mats that our equipment will drive over to help protect your lawn. Your property will always be treated with the utmost respect and consideration for any job that we perform. While we can’t make any guarantees that there will be no damage, will always do our best or protect your lawn from any marks or ruts.

Do you use spikes to climb the trees?
While we try to avoid the use of spikes, it is sometimes necessary to use spikes if we can't access the area with our equipment or if it doesn't fit.

Do you top trees? 
Topping is not recommended and is actually harmful to trees. We can suggest other ways to treat a tree or suggest other options for pruning or trimming to maintain your desired results.  Please be advised, if you decide to top a tree, it will probably end up in its removal in the future.

When is the best time to prune a tree?

Trees can be pruned year round.

What is the difference between pruning and trimming?
Pruning is a very meticulous process. It involves shaping a tree for the desired shape and health of the tree by removing unruly or unwanted branches. Trimming removes larger branches to maintain shape.

How long will it take to remove a tree?
It never takes longer than a day to remove a tree but the actual time involved will vary depending on the size of the tree.

Why should the stump be removed?
A stump can be removed for planting grass, for aesthetic reasons, or for building on the area in construction zones.

Can I plant a tree where one was removed?
If stated at the time of removal, we can dig deeper to allow you to plant in the area.
